Knock and the door will be opened for you

Knock and it shall be opened unto you is the third and last part of Matthew 7: 7 and Luke 11: 9 and is another of the Laws of God. This is very powerful for the Christian, and the whole verse merits some deep thought.

Greek Meanings of Words

KNOCK (krouo - pronounced kroo-o)

to rap on the door

Present Imperative Active Tense - The subject (you) gives a command and it is action that is happening in the now

OPENED (anoigo - pronounced an-oy-go)

to be able to enter

Future Perfect Tense - the subject (you)is the one that receives the action

Then in Matthew 7: 8 and Luke 11: 10, it says the very same thing. God desires for you to ask Him for the things that you need, and even the things that you want as long as they are in alignment with the Bible. He wants you to know Him so well that you are not afraid to tell Him what you need. Your Heavenly Father loves you more than you could ever imagine.

Desire to develop a personal relationship with Him and see all the wonderful things He will do in your life.
