Pray that you will have the Strength to not Enter into Temptation!
Luke 22: 40 And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation.
In this verse Jesus spoke to the people and gave them a command about petition and temptation. He wanted them to realize that this was not really an option. They must be earnest and vigilant if they were to have the strength to walk in victory over Satan. Jesus knew that there would be a certain point in time that things would change from being tempted to giving in to the temptation. They were to petition God in advance; then His supernatural strength would be available when they needed it. You can live each day in awareness by asking God to give you the wisdom to know when Satan is trying to set a trap to defeat or destroy you. Do not cross the line that goes from being tempted to giving in to it.
