Your thoughts will always reveal your heart condition!

Your private thoughts will be revealed, whether good or bad.

Proverbs 23: 7

For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.

thinketh (shaar - pronounced shaw-ah)

to split or open, to act as gatekeeper of a door or gate

Qal Perfect - The subject accomplishes the action that is described by the verb. The action is something that has started in the past and is continuing on into the present and future. It is either repetitive action or describes a state of being.

heart (nephesh - pronounced neh-fesh)

to breathe, refreshed as if by a current of air, vitality

This lesson is very short, but there are not many things in the Bible that are more powerful than this.

You have the power to act as the gatekeeper to whatever pops into your mind. You can accept it or reject it, based on what you already know as truth. The choice is always yours to make. What you let in today can greatly affect you in the future.

It might take a bit more work at first to force yourself to think in a more constructive way, but after a short period of time it will become a habit and you will do it automatically. It doesn't take much more time to form a good habit than a bad one, and you will definitely be glad you made the effort.

Make the choice to accept only good things into your mind and don't let fear, negativity, worry, or any other bad thing ever have a moment's rest there.
